I love chasing and telling a good story. I once drove 2,000 km in three days on assignment for the Washington Post. That piece, my first for the Post, would become the section cover story; ‘above the fold’ as they say in the business. Every minute—including a late night drive into Sudbury on gas fumes—was a joy. My work has also appeared in The Globe and Mail, CBC, Civil Eats, and in magazines including Zoomer and Fine Cooking.
I have written outside my niche including leadership profiles and interviews for educational institutions. I’m currently working on “Success Stories” for a government initiative in manufacturing innovation. In the summer of 2021, I worked as a ghostwriter on an extensive application for the president of a large institution who went on to win a provincial lifetime achievement award.
